Bar Pina
When we head in to Umbertide we almost always make a stop our favorite bar, Bar Pina. Named after the lovely bar owner: Pina. Andrew and Marianne introduced us to this wonderful place and we are quite thankful they did. It’s a lovely place with lovely folks, especially when the sun is shining, so you can sit outside.
Italian bars are not necessarily a place to pull up a bar stool and get your drunk on, but a place to grab a little sandwich or a pastry, a snack, a coffee, or an afternoon beer or drink. We usually grab a quick beer and a snack sandwich and enjoy them outside before heading home after a blog update. It’s a little like Cheers in which you ask for a beer, no need to specify what kind, birra media will do!
