One of my favorite things to do is carve pumpkins, so my EXTRA sweet husband took me to get a pumpkin about a week and a half ago. Extra sweet (this time) because it took many tries to find the garden store open, but, persistence paid off and we got our pumpkins!
Yesterday we carved! We took the pumpkins out to the yard and had a good ol’ time, and finished in less than an hour (first time ever!)
A.J. usually goes pretty traditional and I usually spend hours and hours “creating” a pumpkin masterpiece. Okay, okay not a masterpiece, but I do take hours and hours letting the pumpkin speak to me. Okay, Okay it doesn’t actually speak to me, but it does take hours and hours to play with lots of tools and to decide to leave well enough alone.
