Play Ball!

Went to the Mariners vs. Detroit baseball game yesterday.

What I know about the actual game, you could fit in a baseball hat.  Those things would still probably fit if they were all the size of baseballs...minus the fact I know what size a baseball is.

But here is what I do know:

1.  Baseball is more fun to watch than soccer and football. And I will never understand why you would watch any of them on TV.

2. Ichiro is the only player I have heard of on the Mariners minus Jr. and I never saw him at the game.  I also now know that Ichiro's favorite video game is Dragon Quest. Another thing I don't know...what is Dragon Quest.

3. Cold Beer is good. Especially good at a baseball game. Really Really good in a Compostable cup!

4.  Closer seats are better than further seats.  Look how close I am to this guys hat and the field.

5. I could be in danger at any moment...so ALERT I was.

6.  Homeruns are cool and exciting even if you don't understand the rest of the game. 

This is Sweeney warming up for his next at bat, HR!  And now I know who Sweeney is, but couldn't pick him out of a line up.

7. Sometime your best is just not good enough and no matter how long you talk it won't make a difference.

8.  You would think there would be enough to do, that chatting about plans could wait 'til after. But again I don't know a lot, about Baseball that is...and I was able to take these pictures and talk the whole game.

9.  Time with friends is fun!

11. Last thing I know...this is the building I looked at while drinking a double macchiato while waiting for the bus after the game that the Mariners won!
