Why move to Italy? Part three

Some of  my favorite things are in Italy

Favorite Saint: Saint Francis of Assisi.  I bet 99% of you didn't know I had one.  Perhaps even that I knew any saints at all.  But yes St. Francis.

I've been to Assisi several times and each time I come away with the same feeling of WOW, I just saw this guy's hair shirt.  And I love his tomb and the feeling I get when I'm in it (yeah that sounds weird, not really in it, well I guess you'll have to see it to understand what in it means.)  And Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi is beautiful, giant, and art-mazing. And I almost always come home and find that I've taken the exact same picture; the first thing I love about going to his basilica.

And yes it's just a coincidence that we are flying out to Italy the day after St. Francis' feast day.  But not a coincidence that these are my toes next to a St. Francis statue, I mean I did take the picture after all.
